What the hell did happen in BA?

It's probably the question a lot of people wonder about right now, so I'm going to be clear. WE DID NOT RESIGN (unlike what some people make it sound).



This is the announcement I made, and after that, both Annie and I were VERY clear that we didn't abandon the FC, but that most of our stuff were moved here (actually, because of people not respecting our wishes when we share goodies, AND the mods acting up in the vol54 poemgate thread). We did want people to continue to enjoy the pairing in that FC that our attachment made us unable to leave.

We DID put up the v62 version, with Amy's lovely banner:



It was deleted, along with the 2/3 pages of posts.

How is that "resigning", since we wanted to hold the second part of our give away (March 14th), since we have the calendars to share, and we'd still fangirl there - albeit much less?

Annie and I have been there since the beginning. Whatever people think, there is no one who was as attached to it as us. We do not seek fame (lol, over a FC, who does that?), we just wanted a nice place to discuss IchiRuki, fangirl with our friends, and make coherent posts. It just happened to grow beyond our expectations - mainly, I hope, because fans wanted a place where to discuss rationally, and where to fangirl when goodies were found.

We love to share what we find with fans, but what we don't like is fans acting spoiled, and creating troubles for us and for the Japanese fans who kindly share. This is why we have wishes when we post, and hope the fans can abide by the rules. To credit, not bother Kubo or the animators in twitter (is this truuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeee), this is just proper behaviour. Which is, we hope, not too much.

So I was looking at the "temp" FC, and when confronted with a post by a member who told them the BA mods should own up to the fact that you guys did not resign, this was their response.

I just...gaaaah, that's completely unprofessional of them. You'd clearly stated that you weren't abandoning the FC, that you guys were still gonna manage it, but instead they just go and delete the whole thing without consulting any of you guys? Just. Wow.

I KNEW you guys didn't resign o_o And the fact that BA is trying to make it seem like you did, in my opinion, is the most rotten part of this, it's like the politician trying to sweep a divorce under the rug.... honestly, it's sad that some people were actually fooled by that.. but atleast you guys do still have this FC

W.E. As Syn said, and I will second it, there was no resigning on our part. If it was that, version 62 would not have been up and running. It was deleted intentionally by BA admin/mod/whatever and supposedly words put up that it was our decision not to continue. And again, rather than checking up on those facts, a decision was made without asking anyone on what was going on. If that is that, so be it. But we are making it clear right here, right now so nothing is twisted to try to excuse the actions that were taken. It was a decision made by higher ups and one that we had no say in.

Are you shitting me? No one can say that the owners didn't care with all they did for the FC, all the giveaways, all the news and translations and just ugh.
 Way to be passive-aggressive there, and that doesn't change the fact that there was no discussion involved-no warning whatsoever as far as I can tell-before the deletion of v62. They can try to sound as impartial and nice as they want, but we know the truth. =.=

You know what hurts the most? Is the former members who aren't a bit sad about this and that they are already fighting about who will become the next owner. The funniest -and maybe most annoying- thing is that they think it will be more dynamic now. Ungrateful brats!

They are twisting Syn's words and lying making it seem as if they were the victims. You know, there is a french saying to this "Quand le chat n'est pas là, les souris dancent."
I'm sure that I'm going to be banned soon. But Oh well. I don't care about BA anymore. It's their loss.

I'm really sad. I loved the IR fc on BA because of it's owners/co owners and how well it was run, the place was like perfection to me. It was like the crowning jewel on the tiara of BA. I'm sad to see it go down like this, it's just disappointing. Even if they do get new owners and stuff, I don't think I want to go back there again. *sighs* Just depressing. 

And ugh, yes, the whole "refugee" thing was like 0_0 are you serious? Really not cool. *sighs*

This is a sad experience for you guys I'm sure, I hope you know that you're all one of kind and that your contributions and efforts on the BA were most valuable, I'll do my best to see you all around on DB.

They're basically saying that because the owners won't share goodies there anymore, they don't want to own the FC? Since when does BA HAVE the rights for those goodies anyway? Everyone has been more than nice enough to share goodies in the FC, not out of obligation, but because of their love for IchiRuki and sharing it with its fans. And all they do is ask for credit, but when people just go out of there way and share it outside the FC without credit, what do they expect? They just take advantage of what great things they've been getting and think they somehow earned it.

@ Imou: Tell me about it ): I'm guessing it's the newest members that haven't been there for long and don't really appreciate what Syn and Annie has done for the FC. I'm surprised as how they are acting as if everything is okay, and as if the FC was built on nothing.

(This situation greatly resembles when I was banned from there >>)
