Edit: It has been brought to my attention that 4chan thinks that we raid them somehow (or something similar?).

We do not. I advise strongly any IchiRuki posting there to stop posting. If you think 4chan is into shipping, you're wrong. They're not. And it's not because there are trolls who try to stir up shit that you need to reply - in fact, it's stupid. My best advice against troll has always been IGNORE THEM. They love that you reply. And they love that you're being hated by others for replying to their shit.

Spread the word to your tumblrs and friends please. I certainly don't want to have anything to do with 4chan. Avoid shipping talk at all with that site. Because some of you insist to reply to those idiotic trolls, somehow 4chan think it's us (because of the link truant posted). And it does not please us.

So, Annie thought that we could have a thread to debunk stupid lies and shit spread by a lot of IchiOris. It's not exactly that we're doing this to "reassure" people, but to let off the steam, so to speak, that reading shit give us.

So starting up, I propose the: "OMG, look at the smile Ichigo gave to Orihime! IT'S LOVE WE'RE CANON!!!".

LOLZ if this is canon, then so is IchiChad (I know, some wouldn't mind here XD). Is this a fake smile, as some IchiRuki fans claim? NO. It's not a fake smile. It's a genuine, happy smile. I don't think we need to label this as fake, because why would we need to? It's Ichigo, of course he'd be happy that his friends are safe!

That said, it's a far cry from IchiOri being canon. Ichigo is happy to see everyone doing fine in HM... how does that make them canon? If anything, Inoue is getting Chadzoned pretty hard there, calling Chad who gets the same treatment as her. Not only that, but the actual rest of the chapter, the one who talks the most and gets insteresting convo about Ichigo is actually CHAD. That downsizes even more Inoue's importance in term of plot and... well, everything.

As for Ichigo, what does he do? Inoue does not cross his mind further than this.

Annie asked me to add other moments when Inoue is getting the same treatment than Chad, but TBH I don't have the time right now, and there are just so many, back from the FB arc until now (-___- ) But please be my guests! /bow

Great idea. We need a good laugh once in a while. But I always get the impression that a lot of these people who make up these kind of theories just read Bleach and its individual chapters without paying much attention, and that who did read the manga in its entirety would not craft such weird theories (even those who would still ship IchiHime after doing so; because not all of them harass the fandom with weird theories).

What about Orihime? She's earned it more than the rest of them. She's the one whose character made the most progression. I can't help but distrust Kubo at how he chose to keep her in the background. After all of this build-up of her being most important and having the most potential, he chooses to push her to the side in favor of Rukia and her **** fans.

 

If her fans truly appreciated her then they'd acknowledge how she moves out of the way so Orihime can spend time with Ichigo

I am simply reposting what I had put on OD's profile when I saw her rebuttal(claps...glad for how she responded)

Lemme understand sth:
1. In the hospital scene, Ichigo's reaction, right after being told by Shinji that Rukia and Renji are ok, is to ask if RUKIA IS OK. He then goes on to give some very tsundere-like reaction and it was all very funny. Yet we got to see sth, that Rukia knows him well enough to see through the facade, that sth was wrong. Yep...our poor reunion
2. The Hotspring scene...dear mercy, their remark has killed me. So was Ichigo supposed to ogle Rukia's behind, reach out and smack it then make some remark? Do these people actually read Bleach? Frankly, I got the comedy of the scene, and was thrilled at Ichigo's reaction. If this IH fan wanted something more, I feel for them.

In short, if they are saying that out reunions no longer have meaningful eyecatching/long gazes and have become moot, and this gives them reason to celebrate, then I truly feel for them.

The face that kills the romance? Ooh boy, bring out their panels and we make comparisons. These small comedic IR panels trump their socalled best IchigoxOrihime gazes..

Wow.  I dislike how they're implying Ichigo would be so shallow enough to like someone for their bewbs looks.  But that aside, he's never once blushed around Orihime.   

Also, Rangiku and Yoruichi were aiming for a reaction.

It's like they're basically admitting to the significance of long gazes and large panels.

If every moment we had ever had....and I MEAN EVERY SINGLE IR MOMENT(be it in the anime, movies, manga, spreads, calendar, novels etc) be it large or small(ESPECIALLY THE SMALL INSIGNIFICANT COMEDIC PEACH) moments was given to the IH, I bet they would be screaming canon, dancing through multiple forums and threads celebrating this and that. Kinda reminds me of Mezzo's hilarious essay on moments given to IR(except she switched and put different people in those places)

Then there was this bit...referring to the scene where Ichigo activates his fullbring by going through his memories of moments when he had felt proud to be a shinigami...you know that moment(I think in chapter 436...was it?)

Ichigo has never expressed sexual feelings toward Rukia. But he has toward Orihime. He put her over his shoulder, probably so he could feel her.

Oh that Valentine's 2011 gift from Kubo to IchiRuki fans. I remember reading argument that Ichigo thinks of Rukia last because she represents his shinigami pride. And....I always wonder if people realize how stupid that sound.

I believe Ichigo was following Chad's advice. Those flashbacks represent Ichigo's "pride as a shinigami". So why does Orihime have two panels? I believe each panel represents Ichigo's pride in a sense that he has saved someone. The first four are there to show his three human nakama and his family.  The last two panels represent Ichigo's achievements during the two major arcs, in Soul Soceity and in Hueco Mundo. One shows him in the most heroic stance saving Rukia from her death and another shows a captive has returned home safely.

Interestingly those moments are not enough to trigger Ichigo's fullbring. What trigger his power is this:

You cannot be that in denial and argue this panel represents pride. No one can be that blind. This image happens after Ichigo lost his power. There is nothing for him to feel proud of. That is an image of a girl walking out of his life yet for some reason it is powerful enough to activate his powers. The image has different context than other flashbacks. I don't care if people don't ship IchiRuki. But don't tell me Kubo doesn't mean to make this page shippy and in favor of IchiRuki. It doesn't matter that Orihime gets two panels. She isn't the reason Ichigo's fullbring gets activated, Kubo's chosen Rukia for this scene.

Also, if they wish to use this scene as a proof that Ichigo loves Orihime. Ichigo himself kills that. Two panels of Orihime show her crying like a five years old looking for her big brother. Yet one panel of Rukia shows her looking beautiful. I shouldn't explain any further which one is shippier.

The fandom made itself that way or death threats to author because Sensei favors Ichigo x Rukia, while most of the fans didn't like Orihime as a character. This wouldn't change the slightest of what certain Orihime fans does in constant tweeting about Orihime to Sensei. Guess who at fault? Otherwise the fandom would have been enjoyable the way it was, instead it dug itself its own grave.
