Happy first anniversary DB, and thank you for this gorgeous theme! Overall, I think the balance between light and dark is very good, it's quite easy on the eyes. I might have to go and see how the green/red combo looks in the Ulquiorra FC - some colours may be a bit difficult to read, so everyone, if formatting post colours, keep that in mind for us people with poor sight. Please.

Hmm, now that I think about it…I like the red background, but it might become a bit too straining on the eyes after a while. Speaking for myself here, obviously. Is it possible to at least offer a lighter version, rather than making a light background the default?

I was attached to the dark theme a lot, but I really can't say no to the King of Spades and the Queen of Hearts, lol.
I like it a lot!

I don't know if this really matters but the top bar looks a bit off on mobile devices.

Really liking the new theme too Thanks to all who contributed~ I personally like lighter backgrounds when browsing.

I just don't quite like the dark red background on the posts though   It seems a bit too much.

EDIT: I just saw the sticky topics---I also think the Orange & Purple colors to stick out too much against the dark red too. I feel like the hues chosen are pale in contrast to the red. Maybe go a bit darker or lighten the red a bit?

The new theme is lovely, I wanted to join the contest for new theme too but I just didnt find a time...
Anyway, is it just me or this new theme's layout looks quite wrong, it doesnt display properly on my monitor... it look like Nicole's screenshot on the post above. Im using 1024x768 resolution

The new theme comes across as very bright and cheerful. Very festive. Great job, Nereid . The black theme seems easier on my eyes though, since I spend lots of time in front of the computer each day.
