It was a year ago that the staff (Athena, Navirae, Annie and I back then) began to work on Deathberry. However, it was only in November (the 23rd) that we were ready to open it to everyone, and it's for that official opening that we wanted to celebrate with give away and one contest. There's nothing to win except except share our love for Bleach and its characters
Give away
For those who are used to the IchiRuki FC, they already know how these work: it's basically fanworks made especially for one occasion, following themes, etc, that must be new and posted during the due date. It's basically the same, but instead of being opened to only IchiRuki works, since there are fans who don't ship them here nowadays, it's opened to the whole forum.
As for the characters and/or pairings they center on, it can be any for the characters; for the pairings, the only pairing allowed with Ichigo or Rukia is IchiRuki, since we are an IchiRuki forum. Any other pairing not including one of the two is fine, and of course, IchiRuki skins are fine too.
Fanartists:- Draw a scene based on any of the novels and Kubo's poems
check the poems here- It can be anything ranging from sketch to full fanart or up to 4 pages doujin
- Rating: any, but for the NC-17, hide them under spoiler tag. No yaoi or yuri, as per the rules of the forum
Fanficcers:- Write a fic based on any of Bleach's spreads or illustrations by Kubo [thus it can be AU or in-universe depending on which spread you chosel;

- It MUST be a one-shot
- Ratings: Any, but please put a warning for NC17
The fanworks should be posted here in this thread up until November 23rd.
Contest
The contest is a little bit more complex (who am I kidding, it's actually hard). It's for graphic-makers: you can make a skin for the forum based off the choices we give. There will be a vote held up, and the winner will see his/her skin added to the skins of the forum.
What we want is a general idea; so you should make a mock-up image based off the skins we are giving you. You can change the background/banner, the buttons, etc,
but we mainly ask for a banner/background. The colours can be changed too - our first skin is actually based on a green skin! You also have to know that it won't probably look exactly how you thought it, because there are a lot of adjustements that are needed in order for the forum to look good on most resolutions (from people looking at it from a tablet to those with gigantic screen resolutions).

What you need to do:- change background and/or banner
- you cannot use any fanart unless you have the authorisation/are the actual fanartist. We WILL check for fanarts. Mostly, try to use official art.

- save ALL the datas on whatever file you are working on, with all the layers: in case you win, you will need it!
The buttons and colours will be changed afterwards, according to the background/banner.
