This is a part of the V1 of the IchiRuki FC, for people who don't know this forum and don't want to join without knowing how people post here. This is just a tiny example, to show how we run the forum. Please check this out if you are wary of joining!


Do you think Ichigo and Rukia's relationship has changed for good or for bad because of recent happenings (the separation of 17 months and Rukia's comeback?) 
For good definitely. Kubo always develop these two in a positive way.
Sometimes we might think that "hey, this is not what I'm expecting for the two of them". But Kubo has done better than what we want.
He never ceases to make this relationship blossom further as time passes. I trust sensei, that everything that is shown in the manga is for good. Especially now, and how he noticed plenty of people show their love towards this pair, (Trending at twitter anyone??). It's not just merely because of fandom why he does this (like bashers insist), Kubo ensures that their bond/relationship keeps on blossoming because this is how it is OUGHT to be. They are destined and they compliment each other and it's essential for both of them.

Thanks so much for the info Annie, Pikeish, yrsherry!!  I saw what would be on the CD but do we know what the DVD will be? Is it an OVA or something? Ah some good news is coming I find it so strange that all the big Bleach happenings have happened in the last couple of weeks, last arc of the manga began, anime may or may not be ending (hope it isn't) FC changed to Deathberry.... 2012 brings alot of surprises.... oh well, I'm very quickly getting used to Deathberry Ah well... question time

Kubo is obviously hinting about Ichigo being Yuki's mentor. Do you think this situation may be benefiting to our ship? If so, please explain how. I kind of doubt that, I see the relationship as being Ichigo/Yuki in a mentor/student sort of way, I don't see Rukia being involved much if at all, but it'd be really nice if Rukia mentored him too and we saw some IchiRuki teaming up to teach someone :3 But to me it seems like this is much more about Ichigo's development in having someone to mentor than anything else

Ichigo and Rukia, because they do not see each others often, interact seldomly, but when they do, it always seems that they are taking a new step in their relationship. What do you name and how do you define their feelings and statues at this point of time in the manga? I don't think you can ever really label their relationship, even when they're married I don't think just saying they're a married couple would do it :XD Their relationship is always evolving and moving at such a quick pace that by the time you do hammer out a label for it it's already changed drastically, I think that's one of the cool things about their relationship, but as to where they are... I think honestly they're bordering going from freinds to lovers, I think this becomes more and more clear and they pull eachother closer to that edge in their relationship the more you see them, and it really makes me wonder where they'll be by the end of the manga

And as a last question, What event do you think might trigger the epiphany -both to Ichigo and Rukia- that they love each other? This is left to your wondering imagination. Hm, hard to say.... I'm tempted to go with the old "one nearly dies" thing but to be perfectly honest I think Kubo Sensei fools us so very often and pulls out the big facets of their relationship at the most interesting times, that I'm just not going to say, because I feel certain they'll become canon when we least expect it :XD

Anyway, to end my little post, let's all hope that our girl is back in the manga soon! All the drama going around lately is sure to end once she comes around, it always seems to

Oh man, I really do have to get used to this place now XD The reality hasn't hit me yet that all of my IchiRuki discussion will have to be on here now. But I will get used to it.

I can't say it has changed for anything but for good. It's apparent that Ichigo and Rukia have some unresolved feelings to deal with, (which I believe will become canon in the end : D) but their bond has remained strong throughout the years, even when they were apart. I can never see the IchiRuki relationship as a bad thing, it has only been progressing forward. As the spread says: When the two that share destiny part and reunite, the ceased clock will awake and start to tick again.

Depends on the developments in Soul Society whether their reunion will be one with a big impact or not. I can imagine that in the heat of battle there won't be much interaction between as there would be after one.

Additionally, would you prefer that Ichigo to to S.S to see her and get information, or the other way around as usual, if so then why?

I want to start off with answering this question by quoting Kubo statement in one of the recent omakes: "He's still doing konso and related duties, so this is still Ichigo during his substitute shinigami phase"

He seems to imply that we will get to see Ichigo in some other phase. In my opinion there is not much purpose in Kubo mentioning this if Ichigo continues to be a substitute for the rest of the series. Assuming that Ichigo doesn't turn to the dark side, or something else, I assume this refers to being more than a substitute.

And since we haven't seen much of the Soul Society since the SS arc, I hope to see more of Ichigo in Soul Society. I just like the feudal setting compared to Karakura Town, because I like movies with samurai, ninjas and other japanese stuff etc.

I don't think it changed all that much either. I did think Ichigo may felt his feelings for Rukia because of his vision of her in chapter 436 and his poem which caused quite an impact on us, but overall their relationship still feels the same to me. It's more like those 17 months didn't count for them. Sure it was dreadful and lonely for them both, but as soon as they reunited, it's like suddenly those months didn't matter anymore and they continued on like they usually do. Just like the R6 poem XD. I guess there were positive results, like how Ichigo longed to see Rukia and finding out that Rukia has always believed in Ichigo during those 17 months shows how they still affect each other greatly while separated. But there's still more to come about their feelings. Their relationship is changing, slowly but surely, so I'm going to wait to see what happens next.

Honestly I don't see how Yuki mentoring Ichigo benefit IchiRuki really. Except in the mind of fans like seeing Ichigo and his son I think Yukio is more meant to help Ichigo's character grow more. It's the first time he's really going to have to coach someone, and another shinigami who lacks self confidence. Ichigo has a hard job ahead of him lol.
The only way this mentoring could relate to IchiRuki in any way, would be if, Yuki and Shino are actually from the 13th division. Which would mean Yuki or Shino mentioning something about their VC, Rukia. Something like Ichigo kinda reminding them of Rukia in his behavior or them making a joke about how something Ichigo did would get Rukia on his back, etc...  Okay my mind is going a bit into IchiRuki dream land lol.
I do think though that with Ichigo being a mentor, we might get parallels between him making Yuki stronger and Rukia making him stronger. Not in the same way, but it's still possible.

At this point in the manga, I'll simply go with more than friends and almost like lovers to describe them. In terms of feelings, I and statues, I'll definitely say that they know they're important to each, like really, really important to each other.

Rukia not only noticed the Ichigo is pathetic when she's not with him, but she's also been so emotional as she looked up at him, thinking of how he changed her and everyone else. So she knows he's very important to her and that she's important to him too. But then again, we saw how she worried about Ichigo and was so focused on him that she kind forgot the shinigami mission to the real world. That was kinda unlike Rukia and showed that her emotions were on high because of Ichigo. Well seeing her future husband transform and become sexy like that in bondage, ofc even Rukia would get distracted ... pffff

 Ichigo ... I'm not sure he's really realized how important she is to him although his body and heart have been trying to tell him that XD In chap 436, Ichigo;s heart choose the memory of beautiful Rukia leaving Ichigo, as if to emphasize her importance to him and how much he missed her. And then, how his body went lax in 459 when he saw Rukia, how he trusted her above everyone else at that moment and literally dropped his sword to gaze at her, in 460. We have Ichigo's body showing how important she is. But even there, we also have emotions were running high like in Rukia's case: because of Rukia, Ichigo forgets the situation he's in, the enemies, his dad, Urahara, etc...  Ichigo also knows he's important to Rukia, seeing how much she has faith in him.
 
IMO, they're like on the verge of passing that nakama filter they've put between them, but we are not quite there yet. They need a little shove from Kubo. They're definitely giving me the romantic vibes with the way how they acted toward each other, the almost like lover vibe, so I'll just wait for what Kubo has in store for them.

And as a last question, What event do you think might trigger the epiphany -both to Ichigo and Rukia- that they love each other? This is left to your wondering imagination.
Hmm them coming to understand the nature of those feelings they have for each other hey?  It's actually hard for me to imagine, since I reall have troubles seeing them thinking about how they love each other or even confessing that... hmm, let's see...

A situation for them would be one of them in danger of being taken away while the other watch, or one of them in danger of dying. I could see them both react without thinking and try to reach for the other one while crying out their name or something. But yeah even that isn't really a realisation of feeling. It's more like they're already lovers hey?

Argh I need to think more about this. My mind won't let come up with scenarios without screaming shoujo


Anyway, let's all cross our finger for another beautiful Rukia entrance, this time to stay. In the meanwhile, if Kubo could give us another IchiRuki smex line badge conection moment, I would die happy... And later, I'll get my IchiRuki with Yuki fantasy spread.

Okay so I was very surprised when I went to BA today, and I'm actually pretty appalled at what has happened...
I still can't believe it...
It was almost a part of my daily ritual to check the IR FC over at BA... 

I don't know what will happen to the FC there, what with Syn, Annie, Nacchan and Navirae gone (and probably many more loyal members following their example)...
I still don't think I can bring myself to abandon my long treasured FC, though.

What I know for sure is that there will be a gaping hole left where you guys used to be - and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you guys for all the effort and time you put into the BA FC - it brought me many, many joyful hours, and I'm infinitely grateful for all you did!!!

I'm usually more of a lurker than a poster anyways, but this is definitely a reason to get more active here on DB, and I hope to take part in many
interesting discussions and gushings about our favourite pairing!

Some moment where  The other's life is in *serious* danger.  we've seen it once before way back when.   The "semi epiphany"  has already happened once. 

Ichigo watching over Rukia from Chapter 213 "Trifle"  And this for me is the moment that Ichigo realizes  (Rukia has her little moment later) The look on Ichigo's face says it all.  "I can't believe this is happening again"  But there is also this look of  I don't know. He is overcome with emotion  seeing his Rukia laying before him.  And he's just can't seem to deal with it all.

As For Rukia well her moment   is here.  you notice  in the panel, she's talking about the Arrancars.  She's sweating... She's confused.  But what she's confused about has *nothing* whatsoever to do with the arrancars and their targets.   She is clearly struggling  very clearly with her emotions here.  She is unable to deal with everything right now so she goes for fresh air to clear her mind.

i'm new here... 
actually, i've been lurking around in the IR FC in BA for i guess more than 2yrs now.. haha..
i've found it when i was looking for the date release of Fade to Black DVD... then before i knew it, i was attached to it.. it became my everyday coffee. i always read your discussions. and enjoyed every goodies that the members provide. i get to know Syn, Annie, Nacchan, Debbie, Pike, Spiderkiss, Estella May and Navi..
it's sad what happened there in BA... i'm not a member there because i guess that i'm  not good at explaining things, providing goodies and joining contests. but i love reading everyone's discussions. i enjoyed it when everyone was squeeing and having fun in all the goodies that we have for our ship.
what the mods did there was really mean.. i was reading v62 when it was deleted. and saw when everyone's post was intentionally deleted, saying that what they wrote was not right, when they were actually explaining that the owners did not resign.
but, anyway.. i'm glad we have DB... i'd like to say THANK YOU to Syn and Annie.. i give my support to you all... yoroshiku onegaishimasu
