Huh. Well, not an exciting chapter -- except for that end bit there; Ice Palace and information? Yes please! -- but I won't go so far as to say it's a let down.  I knew Ichigo would have to accept his power and realize that all of it was part of him, but I admit I imagined it would be more dramatic.

I'm reserving judgment on the swords. They look pretty meh to me, but we haven't seen them in action.  The symbolism is obvious, and given the genre, I guess the obviousness was necessary but what concerns me about this set up is just HOW is Ichigo going to fight with these things? I'm so used to him swinging around a mucking great sword that this is going to be a change.  But then the whole Getsuga tencho thing had gotten pretty overdone so maybe the new moves will be a good thing.

TBQH, tho, I'm unconvinced this is Zangetsu's final form.  Part of me thinks the two swords need to become one once again. And perhaps that's a sign that the Shinigami and Quincy do as well?  (More about that later. I'm tired right now.)

what a lame chapter  i don,k care what happen to ichigo power anymore,after the building up kubo made the result is ......disapointed.just give us what is going on in uryu and kuchiki sibling that,s more intresting.

Well I guess Shunsui and Ukitake aren't so special anymore, lol. I actually like his new sword. Though the fire aspect some of theorized is still unconfirmed, now that he's able to dual wield, he will have more diversity for his attacks.  And now he has no excuse to spam one attack. Chapter was awfully short, though.

I don't mind the shikai looking average so long as the bankai looks amazing.

So predicable it's boring. I knew he'd asked both to be his zanpakutou. I knew we'd be back to this and I still wonder why we need to waste three weeks to see that nothing has really changed except adding a new extra lame cleaver knife.
